As part of their commitment to comply with the new Regulatory reform(Fire
Safety) Order. Waverley Borough Council have installed the very latest Wayfinder
system in their offices in Goldalming.

The general public and staff alike are now afforded vital extra safety in the event
of a fire alarm situation.

A spokesman for the council stated that further assessments confirmed that
Wayfinder\'s would give a good visual warning to those members of staff that had
difficulty hearing alarm bells but would see the bright flashing
LED arrows which point to the nearest fire exit from their location in
the building.

The Wayfinder\'s require no hard-wiring or building works and offered a simple cost
effective solution.

The Borough has become the first council in the world to install such a system and
shows it\'s tenacity to lead where others follow.
